Getting Connected

Terrific ideas, inspiration, and resources from Trish Parnell and Franji Mayes of PKID's on today's Education Hour. CIC wants to encourage all of our members to consider and explore ways that 'new media' can help connect us all to the latest information - especially during the upcoming influenza season(s). Please consider Trish Parnell's offer to work directly with her to learn more about these resources.

Kudos also to Amanda Roth of the CDPH IZ Branch for the great intro to Shot-by-Shot. Watch our site and this blog for more info on getting involved with this project!

Thanks all!

CIC Ed Hour-Tuesday, October 28, 12-1 pm

Education Hour Blogging - Ask a Question,
Start a Dialogue
What is a blog?
In simple terms, a blog is a user-generated web site, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis. You can start your own blog, or participate in someone else's (like the CIC Ed Hour Blog). New comments show up at the top, so participants can read what's new. Then others can comment on it or link to it or email you. Or not.

A blog is a place to collect and share things that you find interesting— whether it's your personal commentary on this subject (vaccines and immunization issues) or links to other web sites.
Everyone can benefit from discussing the various challenges we all face in our work and blogs serve as a mechanism for sharing those ideas.

Ed Hour Blog
Send us your Ed Hour comments or questions in advance or start a discussion on topics of future interest. This is a new medium for many of us so we appreciate you giving it a try - Blog On!

To Register - Go to http://immunizeca.org/educationhour.cfm
